Today we’re visiting the new Veterans Memorial Walk at Engler Park in Farmington. 🇺🇸
This path has been designed to honor and remember those who served our country and helped make Farmington such a wonderful place to live and to visit.
It’s located near the Chandler/Vargo trail at Engler Park, across from the Play It Forward in the Parkland playground.
We encourage you to take some time to get outside and take a walk down this beautiful path this #MemorialDay.

Morning at Bell Mountain

It’s that time of year when the weather is cooling off and it’s perfect for hiking! Just a short drive from Farmington you’ll discover the Bell Mountain Wilderness area.
This 9,143 acre wilderness is part of the St. Francois Mountains, one of the oldest landforms in North America. The wilderness is named for a family that once lived and farmed along the ridge top that is now known as Bell Mountain.
Elevations range from 1,702 feet at Bell Mountain to 970 feet in the Joe's Creek drainage. Both Bell Mountain and Lindsey Mountain offer outstanding views of the surrounding area.
There are approximately 11.9 miles of trails maintained for hikers, including a small segment of the Ozark Trail.
