The story behind The Cottage in the Woods:
We built this beautiful home in 2013 (finished in 2014) for my mother and dad. It is next door to us on our 16 acres of woods. Dad passed in late 2013 before it was finished. Mom moved in April, 2014. It was perfect for her and she always called it my little cottage. Mom passed in 2022 at the age of 103.
We did not want to sell or rent The Cottage because we like the seclusion and privacy back here. A friend suggested making it an Airbnb. After less than a minute thinking about it, we decided to do it - and here we are.
