We are heading into another October weekend which means Skyline Drive will again be very busy! As the fall colors are nearing peak foliage there will be more and more tourists in our area. Remember to please be patient with fellow drivers and law enforcement and also remember how great Skyline Drive tourism is for our community! A few tips to help us all plan ahead and get through the next few weekends:

= Do your shopping during the week
= Spend time and shop on Main Street
= Commerce Avenue is always less congested
= Take lesser traveled roads - not main roads
= This isn't everyday, just a couple of weekends
= Let's do our part to help share our beautiful landscape
= Let's be positive

The FRPD will do everything we can to keep the intersections clear, but we can not magically move the grid locked vehicles out of town or to a different place. Please be patient with everyone on the road and welcome everyone to our town with open arms!
