Such a fun activity at Discovery

INDIGO TIE DYE
Monday, 1:30 PM

Discover the history of an important plant in South Carolina: Indigo. In a very special HANDS-ON experience at the Coastal Discovery Museum, learn how indigo dye is made from a plant and use it to create a tie dye t-shirt you can take home.

The Museum will provide you with one t-shirt (size Child M – Adult XL) to tie dye with indigo, made from what was once our area’s well-known “cash crop.” You are welcome to bring an additional cotton item to dye.

Cost is $12/Adult and $7/Child. This family-friendly program is designed for both kids and adults. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Call (843) 689-6767 ext. 223 to register.
