We are getting lots of calls about fireworks in Hochatown. Here’s what you need to know:
Fireworks are prohibited in the town of Hochatown. Most cabin management companies, cabin owners and HOAs also prohibit fireworks. Due to the woodland environment our cabins are located in, fireworks are just a bad idea. The good news is that there are two family friendly firework shows coming up. July 3rd at the Choctaw Landing Resort and July 4th at Shuck Me. Hochatown V.F.D will be present at both shows conducting fire watch activities, as well as fundraising for firefighters. Please show your support for these guys/gals that give so much of their time for the community.
