Our house we are offering is a concrete block house built in the 1980 s . Centrally located between Homosassa (4 Minutes ) Crystal River (5 Minutes) . Large area for boat storage . The house is tile floor thru out . Each bedroom contains a Queen bed with Cable TV . Wireless Internet dedicated to Home . Single tub and water closet . Dining area and living room . Coffee/Toast/ Micro full

size fridge / Single car garage attached . Great for Dogs . We have a large yard in back to enjoy . Trails to explore . Also walk to Nice BBQ same distance . Scalloping and Fishing are super Hot in the summer . We have a list of Local Captains that will gladly host your family and friends . Manatees can be found in the summer months , winter is the best time and the colder the better . Check out Nature Coast Adventurer on FB . Marie and I Karl are from here , Marie went to Inverness High School And I went to Crystal River . We where married in the House across the street from this home in 1988 . We are Locals . We are professional Window Tinters and Signs Makers and Chefs .We can stock the fridge with whatever you want or need Gladly to save you Time so you can enjoy your valuable time vacationing . Forget a cooler just ask need fins and mask ect...... We offer a Dog friendly Pontoon River cruise when boat is available and Please book in advance . We have a Paddle Board rental and we have plenty of Kayaks and canoes we rent . We can meet you at the river and put them in for you . The OZELLO TRAIL is one nice ride so if you bring your bikes or sports car you are in for a Sebring type drive as it winds and curves all the way out to the gulf . We are 10 minutes to Downtown Old Homosassa . We also can hook you up with Local Bike rental so you can tour Downtown Crystal River on their miles of Rails To Trails . There is a Local Skate Board park not much but couple of ramps . Forget your board we got some . This is a Super Kool place we have owned for 30 or so years and we want your stay to be awesome trouble free and Frequent . We will be at your call for anything you need we live 10 minutes away and our Tropical Window Tint Shop is around the block we have been there 35 years See The School bus you are there .

This house we perfect for my husband and I and our black lab. The yard was perfect for the dog to you out and play. House is on a a dead end street so it was nice to take him for a walk next to the house. Beds were comfy and the house is very cozy. The kitchen had the main necessities. It was very clean on the inside. Great location to do see sites in Crystal River and Homosassa. Would highly recommend staying here.

Just love this place and keep going back! This was my 3rd visit. The place is always clean and has everything you need for your stay. The fenced backyard is a beautiful bonus if you like to travel with your fur friends. The hosts Karl and Marie are the best! The house is located on a dead-end street so not a lot of road traffic but is conveniently located off Hwy 19 so it's a short drive to kayak rentals(to see the Manatees!), restaurants, and nature trails! I will be back for a 4th visit!

It’s World Hippo Day and what better time to celebrate our very own hippopotamus Lucifer. While not native to Florida, he is the one and only “Florida hippopotamus” as he was granted state citizenship to remain in a Florida State Park. All Hail Lucifer!

Friendly reminder there is no water access into Three Sisters Springs from land & no land access from water. So how do you swim, snorkel or paddle into TSS? In water recreation at three Sisters Springs is accessible by launching a vessel from any public boat ramp or kayak launch on Kings Bay and navigating to the spring run for TSS. If you’d like to know more about the ancient people who built the mounds at Crystal River Archaeological State Park, plan to join one of the guided tours offered every Monday and Thursday at 11AM, 12:30 PM, and 2:00 PM., starting in the museum. Knowledgeable park volunteers will lead the 1-hour tours. Participants will walk just under a mile, so plan accordingly with comfy shoes, bug spray, and some water.

The tour is included with park admission: $3 per vehicle (up to eight people). Please use the Iron Ranger (honor box) at the gate to pay fees; correct change is required.

The tours are subject to cancellation upon inclement weather. ~Heather

Make it a great day! Weekend in View!

Sometimes when I climb the steps up Mound A at the Crystal River Archeological State Park, I pause halfway up, at the point that most of the sparse development on the river is hidden by the mound, and I think about the people who were here long ago, catching fish and turtles in the tidal creek below, perhaps snaring water birds and small mammals for food. Did they hear the cry of the osprey kiting overhead? Did they welcome spring days like today? This park is a place for pondering, questioning, and reveling in history. Visit soon. ~Heather
