PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD JOIN THE 4th INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA CELEBRATION
In India, more than 50,000 people joined Modi in performing yoga in the lawns of Dehradun’s Forest Research Institute, in the Himalayan foothills of the northern state of Uttarakhand.
Countries such as Afghanistan, Japan and Peru held yoga sessions, while Australia and South Africa celebrated on Monday.
“From Tokyo to Toronto, from Stockholm to Sao Paulo, Yoga has become a positive influence in the lives of millions,” Modi told participants on the lush green lawns.
“In a world where non-communicable diseases, stress and lifestyle-related ailments are rising, yoga can play a central role in mitigating these diseases to create a healthy mind and body.”

Jen here, have you been wondering what Allie Avernie Almario has been up to the last few days in South America? Check out this video!
She’s currently saying “see you later” to the Galapagos and Ecuador and “hello again” to the USA as she makes her way back home today.
How do you start your final day off in the Galapagos before heading back to the mainland? Ceviche, of course, followed by a final “later-gator” to the sleepy sea lion at the local seafood market.
Next stop: A quick flight that takes you from sea level to the high Andean Mountains to get your zen on and check out the volcanoes.
You can’t go to the highlands without visiting what Allie calls her “home away from home” — Hacienda Cusin. And of course, you must add to your checklist, a leisurely stroll through the colorful Otavalo Market — textiles, panama hats, traditional cuisine, oh my!
And directly from Allie, “We finished our day with an obligatory stop at the Equator, ending the night at Quito's finest five-star luxury hotel, Casa Gangotena, pure bliss. Nine days, nine flights, seven different hotels. Truly this was a working adventure with one of my best friends since college who tagged along. We still make great roommates and bonus, she happens to be fluent in Spanish. I can't ever say my job is boring.”
Until next time…
Our operations manager, Jen K, has made it to safely to Vietnam and plunged straight into the heart of Saigon! We'll be posting more of her images as she explores the highlights of this magnificent country. "After nearly 24-hours in 3 different airplanes, I've finally touched down in Saigon, Vietnam. Day 1 was made up of roaming this bustling city: full of smog and humidity, millions of motorbikes and taxis, and of course, friendly city dwellers. Tomorrow I'm off to explore the Mekong Delta, followed by yet other plane ride, as I head north into this beautiful country. Until then, it's bedtime."
