First time at Disneyland’s Grand Californian Resort & Spa was wonderful! It truly felt like a luxury hotel with the bathroom amenities, room service, turn-down service, and plush robes tucked away in the closet! It also doesn’t get easier to visit Disney’s California Adventure with a direct entrance into the park!

Recently, I traveled to Universal Orlando Resort with my colleagues at Be Our Guest Vacations to experience and learn more about this exciting destination!

While there, I spent a fun day at Volcano Bay water park, toured three hotels, had a classroom session where I learned more about the best way to plan a Universal vacation, and enjoyed theme park time!

Universal is the perfect destination for Harry Potter fans or thrill seekers—and I’m both!

We recently enjoyed a stay at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, located on the Monorail and about an 8-min walk to Magic Kingdom’s front gate!

Staying in the Main Tower is a unique experience with the bustling atrium and Monorail station inside. And the views! Our theme park view was simply perfect for nightly viewing of Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom (tune into the resort information Tv channel for the music!).

We also experienced the Atrium Club with small plates and snacks at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Beer and wine also included!

Staying at a Deluxe Resort like the Contemporary is a wonderful choice if you’re looking for a balanced vacation of busy park days and resort relaxation.
