First time at Disneyland’s Grand Californian Resort & Spa was wonderful! It truly felt like a luxury hotel with the bathroom amenities, room service, turn-down service, and plush robes tucked away in the closet! It also doesn’t get easier to visit Disney’s California Adventure with a direct entrance into the park!

We recently enjoyed a stay at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, located on the Monorail and about an 8-min walk to Magic Kingdom’s front gate!
Staying in the Main Tower is a unique experience with the bustling atrium and Monorail station inside. And the views! Our theme park view was simply perfect for nightly viewing of Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom (tune into the resort information Tv channel for the music!).
We also experienced the Atrium Club with small plates and snacks at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Beer and wine also included!
Staying at a Deluxe Resort like the Contemporary is a wonderful choice if you’re looking for a balanced vacation of busy park days and resort relaxation.

Come along to Disney’s Castaway Cay
The Oceaneer Club for ages 3-12 includes several themed areas! Check out the video for a tour of the Fairytale Hall and Mickey and Minnie’s Captain Deck! Marvel Super Hero Academy helps young “recruits” train to be the next generation of super heroes with engaging activities like “Avengers: Mission Training,” a gesture-based game where kids design their own super suits and virtually battle bad guys. Plus, there are lots of opportunities to have fun with favorite characters including Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Ant-Man and the Wasp. Star Wars: Cargo Bay hosts a first-of-its-kind interactive experience, “Star Wars: Creature Challenge,” where kids become creature handlers and learn to manage some mischievous, exotic beings from across the galaxy, before joining an important mission to help Rey and Chewbacca channel the force and rescue the ship from destruction. Fairytale Hall boasts a royal trio of activity rooms where kids join favorite Disney Princesses and Frozen Queens to let their creativity shine at Rapunzel’s Art Studio, read and act out stories at Belle’s Library, and put newfound icy powers to the test at Anna and Elsa’s Sommerhus. Walt Disney Imagineering Lab is a brand-new location where kids will discover the secrets of our world-renowned Disney Imagineers with hands-on activities and inventive experiments. Kids will even have the chance to create their own roller coaster and then climb into a capsule where they virtually ride their imaginative masterpiece at the Ride Studio. Mickey and Minnie Captain’s Deck is a brand-new nautical playground for kids that is home to the signature experience “Minnie’s Captain Academy.” During this high-energy training session, kids will play games, dance and participate in maritime “drills” that test their imagination during fun challenges tied to STEAM principles (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics).
