It's that time of year for the annual reminder as ice fishing season is nearly upon us. We are receiving varying reports from 1-4 inches across the lake. Always check ice conditions before and during travel on the ice. Stay safe by wearing a life jacket or float coat and bring a probe and ice awls. Never go alone, and let someone know where you are going and plan to return. When in doubt, stay off the ice. Remember it is not worth risking your life for a fish.
