Be ready to do the right thing. That's our bottom line this week for elementary. All through the month, we'll learn about "Self-control" which means "Choosing to do what you should even when you don’t want to." We can do this by memorizing this month's Bible verse from 2 Peter 1:3 NIrV: “God’s power has given us everything we need to lead a godly life.” This week's bible story called "Exile" is told from Luke 4:1-13 which is about Jesus being tempted in the desert.
