Fire Safety Doesn't Take a Vacation
It’s Spring Break for many, which may involve traveling and staying in a short-term rental home. Whether staying on the Outer Banks or elsewhere, the Kill Devil Hills Fire Department reminds everyone to practice home safety in rentals, just as you would at your own homes.
Be sure:
o Everyone knows the address of the rental
o Everyone knows two ways out of every room and out of the rental if there is an emergency
o There are working carbon monoxide alarms on every level of the rental
o You can open all doors and windows that lead outside
o You choose an outside meeting place a safe distance away from the rental
o Everyone knows where to find a first-aid kit

We have availability April and May and some weeks left for summer. Fall is starting to book. Be one of our first guests to enjoy the renovations we are making to our backyard for 2024. A bigger pool, expanded fenced in area, new deck and new new tiki bar. New gas grill. We added a new foosball table to the game room also. Adding new area under the covered deck out front too. Pool heat is optional.
