This Father’s Day weekend, we truly may be firing on all cylinders as a cheese shop AND sandwich shop. We just got drunken goat and young Gorgonzola dolce, two biiiig customer requests, back in stock. That Gorgonzola will make you feel like you’re sitting in a nonna’s house in northern Italy awaiting fresh pasta. It’s so mild and creamy with the perfect amount of kick. Due to popular demand we put the meatball sandwich back on the everyday menu in Kingston!! (it’s got pesto and marinara and aged provolone and 24-month reggiano- what else can I say) and we have a beautiful Cuban sandwich special done our way- softened French butter, French mustard, thin pickles, house-roasted Mojo pork, french ham and Swiss on a baguette. This sandwich is no joke baby!!! Stop in, say hi, get some cheese samples, and buy something delicious🥰

Understated, elegant, old-world class and a little sinister—this is the Corleone. 24 month prosciutto, French ham, golfetta, mortadella and aged provolone with lettuce, tomato, salt/pepper/oregano, oil and red wine vinegar and hoagie spread aioli. Sheesh!

Most of you know Cheese Louise as a mighty little cheese shop and snack stop, but as of 2024 we are making a big push into the sandwich game! Here are a few sandwiches we have now, with many specials to come as the weather warms up. Do not sleep on these sandwiches, even if these sandwiches might put you to sleep😂

1. The Tony Soprano: Capicola, provolone, vinegar peppers, balsamic drizzle. $15

2. The 18th Ave: fresh chicken cutlet with pesto mayo, mozzarella, roasted red pepper, and balsamic drizzle. $16

3. The All-American: House-roasted Turkey, Swiss, pesto aioli, shredded lettuce tomato onion. $15

4. The Corleone: Italian combo with mortadella, golfetta, prosciutto di parma, and french ham with shredded lettuce, red wine vinegar, olive oil, salt/pepper and a little red pepper mayo. $16

5. The Meatball Ron: house-made meatballs with provolone, a little bit of pesto and grated parm. $16

6. The classic Jambon-beurre: French ham, salted French butter, mayo, mustard on a baguette (add cornichons for $1) $12

Get your Caviar orders in today for the weekend! We’ll have plenty of stock Saturday but Sunday is a wild card. First holiday season with the Rhinebeck shop and so far you guys have been ravenous! You can put orders in by phone or at [email protected]. We’re open regular hours in both shops including Sunday the 31st, but closed Monday. We still have so many delicious things on our shelves, like foie gras pate and this Gruyère Alpage that we just opened that tastes like a meadow on a perfect fall day. I drove down to a cold storage warehouse in Long Island City to pick up some incredible imported cheeses so you didn’t have to.😊 we have amazing things in stock for the holidays, from Key Lime Pies to Sheep Raclette to Truffle Brie!!! We have 2 platter spots left for next week before we’re tapped out, and we’ll have Campanelli turkeys for pre-order and in stock for the holiday. Also, we’re open TUESDAY and Wednesday in Kingston next week for any last-minute needs. Come visit!

Thanksgiving at Cheese Louise!!! We have CAMPANELLI TURKEYS available for pre-order--please call by this Tuesday to put in an order (we’ll have a few more last minute turkeys.) We’ll have 15-19 lb birds and 20-26 pounders. We’ll also have a limited thanksgiving menu of awesome sides and treats that we’ll put up tomorrow.
