Each cabin has its own decorating panache with whirlpool bath tubs, fireplaces, full kitchens or kitchenettes. The Bluebird Cabin is handicapped accessible with a no barrier wheelchair shower. Gaestehaus Salzburg was opened in 1995 as a Bed & Breakfast and German Restaurant, enjoying many years serving the Lake Lure community. After the passing of Mr. Maringer, we discontinued the meals and now offer a slower pace with only vacation cabin rentals accommodating couples and families who want to enjoy nature at its finest where mountains and blue waters meet! . “For family reunions, wedding, birthday gatherings and such, I will prepare meals when all cabins are rented to one group,” states proprietor Patricia. “This is a special time as we oversee the many details and let the guests reconnect with their loved ones.”
