To The Toy Store in Largo FL ... Jim, Paul and Rene'
Earlier this year, at 75 years of age, I began the search for my new car. Having an '05 Eclipse conv. with 173,000 miles
and much needed mechanical work, my daughters said "Mom, you need to buy a car!" so began the hunt. Having been
a realtor in KC 32 years and still working, I do need a dependable car.
My dream has always been a Corvette, the one with "the four pipes together'' in the back. I know, sounds weird, but
what can I say. My daughter and I began to look on line at many different sites. I came across The Toy Store in Largo
and made a call about a '15 Black on Black convertible with black wheels Stingray. ONLY 14,500 MILES TOO!!!!!
Jim answered the phone. I made a comment about being from KCMO, home of the KC Chiefs and Mahomes. A few
days later, when I called again, he answered and said "I know who Mahomes is, but we have the Miami Dolphins down
here!" (ha) From that moment on, I began to appreciate and enjoy dealing with Jim more and more.
He gave me great advice with his 58 years of Corvette knowledge and told me to look around and call anytime with
questions. Believe me ... I did! I even got both my daughters on a conference call with Jim late one night to ask
questions and he answered from bed! Yikes, I had forgotten about the time difference!
Long story short, I bought the 2015 Corvette Stingray from The Toy Store! As my daughter and I were planning to fly
down and check out the car, Jim said "I will ship you the car for FREE!" saving your trip down here! I said "Maybe the
car will have problems I do not see online?". Jim replied "I will video it all and GUARANTEE it is IMPECCABLE!" I took
his for word for it, without the video. He arranged shipping with a reputable company he has used for years and ...
WALA ... !!!!! My beauty arrived in my cul-de-sac a couple of weeks later in IMPECCABLE condition, as promised!
There was not a scratch, dent or other flaw on the inside or outside of this beauty as Jim promised.
I have never had a backup camera, Bluetooth, SIRIUS radio, automatic EVERYTHING ... I cruise to my showing now in a
car that I tell everyone "I feel as if I have actually died and gone to Heaven!". Being a strong Christian, I do feel I am
the happiest I have been in over 30 years!!!
May God continue to bless all the wonderful people at The Toy Store in Largo FL. Someday I hope to be down that way
and stop in and say hello to all the beautiful people who really cared about me!

Just wanted to send a note to express our gratitude for all you did through the sale, licensing, and transporting the Corvette back to Iowa. The buying process was the easiest and most friendly purchase of a vehicle I have ever been associated with. Having the Corvette delivered to our winter place in Venice, should have been so simply, but it didn’t arrive when the transport company said it would. No fault of yours, but you stepped right up and made phone calls and got it straightened out. Getting the vehicle registered back in Iowa was quite the process and didn’t go smoothly. We had to do some paper work thru the mail and Fed Ex screwed up the delivery. We did get it taken care of. Next the paper work that was needed to be sent to Iowa again ran into a problem, again no fault of yours. Overnight service turned into more than a week. Every time something went wrong and I was having conversations with Jim, Paul or Renee, I always heard this isn’t your problem (meaning my problem), it is all part of doing business, we will take care of it. Renee was so helpful and always so friendly. I have rambled a lot, but you should know that I am so glad we purchased this Corvette for our 50th Anniversary present to ourselves and we absolutely couldn’t have picked a better place to buy it from. We will recommend you to anyone we know that wants a Corvette. The car arrived in Iowa last night. We don’t get home for another week. Want to say once more your establishment went way beyond what anyone would expect from a purchase of a vehicle. Thank you for helping us make a dream come true. Jim and Rhonda Bingman.
