There was a story this morning on the Today show about an organized unorganized baseball game each week in Oklahoma. We used to call this PLAYING. Where kids made up their own games, parents weren't involved, and they just HAD FUN. Remember that unstructured play allows children to develop social, interaction, and creativity skills. Let the children play!

World Autism Awareness Day

Did you know that Dr. Wellman was REPRIMANDED when she ran a group home for refusing to attend an ISP meeting without the individual who should have been the head of the team? All people should be invited to engage in their planning REGARDLESS of their perceived ability to understand what is going on around them.
