Wow, we just got the most wonderful review from our last guests at Soco Serene Cabin. Thank you!

"A host that truly cares, Sergio knew I was arriving late and called me at midnight to make sure that I arrived safely and was able to check into the alluring wood cabin home. Upon entry, the home was filled with beautifully decorated details. The cleanliness of the home was unmatched and one of the best out of all Airbnb's I have visited. Sergio provides everything you need to have a pleasant stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, coffee mugs and glassware. Even the coffee mugs and utensils had small cabin details on them. All of the amenities listed were present and in working order. The fireplace warmed the home on cold nights and the whirlpool bath soothed the body muscles perfectly after a long day of hiking. There are plenty of places to purchase firewood in the area for the firepit in the backyard. I visit the Maggie Valley area many times and will be booking with Sergio again in the future. The communication with Sergio is almost instant and he always answered any questions we had. A truly wonderful experience. A++ host and wood cabin home. Thanks again for everything Sergio."

Due to the overwhelming success of the Smokies Overlook Lodge, we have decided to purchase a second cabin. The Soco Serene Cabin is also a beautiful log cabin located in a charming neighborhood in the heart of Maggie Valley, near all the tourist attractions . Steps away from TubeWorld and right next to the entrance to the old Ghost Town, this cabin can sleep 10 guests comfortably, and features a hot tub, mountain views, fireplace, a game room with pool table (convertible to ping pong), darts and more. Walk to restaurants, breweries, mini-Golf and Jonathan Creek. High-speed Internet.

COVID-19 Update: Haywood County has now lifted the stay-at-home ordinance! As a result, we are now OPEN TO ALL GUESTS. We will continue to take additional precautions, including performing double cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces between guests. However, we feel it is now safe to reopen, especially considering the secluded nature of our cabin and the area, where most of the activities can be carried out respecting the social distancing rules. We look forward to welcoming our guests back!

We understand that these are difficult times, but we would like to inform you that, to comply with a Haywood County ordinance, starting today, March 26, Smokies Overlook Lodge is accepting reservation only for work-related trips or stays over 15 days. We are taking special precautions, including performing deep cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces between guests. Moreover, we realize that our guests may find it risky to plan a trip due to the uncertainty around possible travel restrictions in the weeks ahead. For this reason, we have decided to offer flexible cancellations for all reservations made on our site (www.smokiesoverlooklodge.com) with check-in dates between 3/26/2020 and 5/15/2020.
