Vehicle reservations are required to enter the park on weekends and holidays between now and October 27th. For only 6 weeks - from July 1 to Aug 16 - vehicle reservations are required *every* day of the week.
Additional reservations become available 7 days before arrival, including both full-day and half-day passes (which allow entry after 12 PM).

Dia De Los Muertos (Mariposa Moments)
The annual Day of the Dead celebration in Hornitos will be held on Nov. 2nd at 6 PM. The event includes a candle-light procession from the plaza to St. Catherine’s Catholic Church at dusk for observances, and placing candles in the graveyard.
The public may watch or participate in all or part of the ceremonies. See the event listing for details.

Badger Pass Ski Area
Badger Pass Ski Area will be opening its 2021/22 on December 17, having received more than 3 feet of snow!
The Nordic Center (which offers cross-country skiing and snowshoeing) will open this Friday, Dec. 17th, with downhill operations opening on Dec. 24th.
