Taking time off is important for your well-being, not just a luxury. By completely disconnecting during your break, you're prioritizing your relaxation and setting the stage for a genuinely fulfilling vacation. Remember the importance of disconnecting from work to recharge, rejuvenate, and return with a fresh perspective and increased productivity. Set clear boundaries between work and leisure when planning your vacation.

Planning and getting ready are essential for a relaxing vacation. Follow these tips to make sure you're all set!
1. Tidy up the house before you leave.

2. Create your to-do list for when you return.

3. Stock up the fridge with some food so you don't have to rush to the store when you return.

4. Consider temporarily removing work-related apps from your smartphone to resist the temptation to check in while you're away.

5. Leave your work laptop or phone behind to relax.

6. Choose specific times of the day to post photos, call family, and address anything urgent.

7. Turn on "do not disturb" mode to silence non-essential notifications and allow only essential calls from loved ones.

8. Set up an automatic out-of-office response to inform people that you're away and when you'll be back.
