Cowabunga! Where were you off to Donatello? 🐢

Network Rail superhero Steph sprang to the rescue of this adventurous tortoise after he was spotted on the tracks between Teignmouth and Newton Abbot shortly after midday!

He's really started to come out of his shell since GWR Customer Host Kevin started to look after him!

We are saddened to hear that Sir Kenneth Grange has passed away. A design legend, Sir Kenneth created the look of the iconic High Speed Train. We were honoured to name HST locomotive 43002 after him in 2016. He also joined us in 2019 as the last HST train left Paddington. RIP and thank you Sir Kenneth.

We were proud to support the 15th today! It was the biggest event our LGBT+ staff network, have ever been involved in!

Pride is a celebration of people coming together in love and friendship, to show how far LGBTQ+ rights have come, and how in some places there’s still work to be done. We will continue to support our LGBTQ+ colleagues and the events which help us to celebrate who they are.

If you’re passing through Slough and wondering where Station Jim has gone, worry not!

He is taking a much-needed rest to freshen up for the Summer. We hope to have Jim back from his holiday, feeling shiny and ready to resume station mascot duties in a couple of months 🐶
