The Bartolotta Restaurants is a Milwaukee-based restaurant group owned by brothers Paul and Joe Bartolotta. Their first restaurant, Ristorante Bartolotta, opened in 1993 and today, the group owns and operates 15 restaurants and catering facilities, including four upscale establishments, two upscale casual concepts, a pair of supper clubs, a pizzeria and a lakefront custard stand, as well as three quick-casual restaurants in the Milwaukee airport.

We were thrilled to return to Kohler Wisconsin Food & Wine this past weekend! For the fifth year, we took over one of their culinary stages for a full day, offered a very special dinner event, and participated in the Taste of the Vine reception.

Many of our chefs took the stage to share their knowledge and passion during demonstrations of signature dishes, including Ristorante Bartolotta dal 1993’s Executive Chef Juan Urbieta, Bacchus - A Bartolotta Restaurant’s Executive Chef Nick Wirth, Downtown Kitchen’s Executive Chef Matt Baier, Harbor House’s Executive Chef Michael Genre, and The Commodore - A Bartolotta Restaurant’s Executive Chef Jesse Kloskey.

On Saturday night, Executive Chef Jesse Kloskey led the team as they hosted a five-course dinner celebrating The Roaring Twenties and The Commodore - A Bartolotta Restaurant.

This celebration will highlight Milwaukee's vibrant culinary scene, featuring over 40 esteemed chefs who will create dishes inspired by African and Caribbean cuisines, honoring the influence of African diaspora foodways on modern American cooking.

Our very own Corporate Executive Chef, Aaron Bickham, will showcase a beloved family recipe during this year’s event: his grandmother’s New Year’s Black Eyed Peas, made with braised black-eyed peas and smoked pig feet.

We are so excited to welcome Joanne Reardon as Senior Director of Finance of The Bartolotta Restaurants! Joanne is not only a seasoned strategic finance leader with nearly a decade of leadership experience in the finance sector, but also a Wisconsin native and Marquette University alumnae with close ties to the Milwaukee community.

Joanne has a record of success in the restaurant industry, especially in her role as Director of Investor Relations and Strategy at the Seattle-based MOD Pizza, where she led corporate strategic planning, investor communications, and corporate development for more than 500 locations across the U.S. and Canada.

“The Bartolotta Restaurants is recognized as one of the most successful, innovative, and family-oriented companies in Wisconsin, and it is truly an honor to be part of this team,” says Mrs. Reardon. “I’m excited to bring my experience and passion for hospitality to the team, and to work together to build on the success of this fantastic organization.”
