Something to look forward to next fall!

🇺🇸United States Federation of Sleddog Sports is glad to announce that the 2025 IFSS Dryland World Championship and World Masters will be organized in Minocqua Winter Park, Wisconsin USA October 21-26, 2025🇺🇸

So very grateful for the major organizing efforts of Wisconsin Trailblazers Sled Dog Club alongside USFSS.

Keep an eye out for details here and on the IFSS website. We’ll make sure to keep all potential competitors and spectators in the know to the best of our ability.

So excited for our friends Minocqua Winter Park 🎉🥂

The results are in for the 2023 USA Today contest and we are proud to announce that Minocqua Winter Park was voted #1 for Best Cross Country Ski Resort! 🤩 🎉 ❄️

Minocqua Winter Park, along with 20 other nominees, was hand picked by a panel of experts who partnered with 10Best editors. The top 10 winners were determined by popular vote over the course of a month.

This contest featured some really tough competition and we are incredibly honored to receive this recognition. The outpouring of support we’ve received, both locally and from afar, has been amazing and we are so grateful to each and every one of you.

We look forward to welcoming old friends, and new, back to the park for another fantastic winter season. There are so many ways to experience winter fun at Minocqua Winter Park!

Even though this has been 11 months in the making, it’s still *so* surreal to be able to share with you all our feature in the Oct/Nov issue of Country Living Magazine! This is the first publication I bought when we were throwing around ideas for our upcoming cabin renovation back in 2016. I remember seeing a young family’s home in the issue and thinking how cool it must have felt for them to have their space featured in such a well-known magazine. Fast forward 7 years, and I still can’t believe we’ve now become one of those families. We have literally poured our blood + sweat + tears into this cabin (fortunately, not in that order 😉). It’s a constant project, and it’s never going to be “finished”, but as I’m always reminded, it’s rarely about the destination and almost always about the journey. And boy oh boy has this cabin been a journey. To have this sort of a “pinch me!” moment for our family really does make it feel like it’s been a journey that’s been well worth it. We’re beyond honored and so grateful for the feature, and we now have the best family memento ever to look back on. Thank you all for being here and allowing us to continue to share all things Pine Cove! 🌲

Fun fact…we have a marble topped table at Pine Cove that came from Howard Young’s estate. Gabe’s dad bought it at the estate sale, and we ended up with it. The table was reportedly used to hold the telephone that Liz would use when she made calls while she was visiting.
