Our June and July bookings are almost full...because that's the busy season for the Emerald Coast. Wouldn't a get-away in the fall be nice? We had some truly amazing food at the Sandestin restaurants this week! Our top pick? The peel-n-eat shrimp at Hammerheads. It had the soft texture and buttery sweet taste of lobster. Some of the best shrimp we've ever had! Other good picks: the burger at '5 O'clock Somewhere, any breakfasts at Ruby Slipper, the sandwiches at Charley's, pizza at Grimaldis at Grand Boulevard, and the chocolate chip coffee gelato at La Cremeria!

The Fisherman's Wharf street in Baytown. There's always lots of activity below our balcony! We overlook Rum Runners and Fat Tuesday. Great music plays on the street, often there is a live band, and we have the best seat in the house for Tuesday fireworks! If you enjoy people-watching, we got you covered!

We are on our way home from a very productive and FUN few days in Sandestin! We took down artwork, put up artwork, moved artwork, deep cleaned, ate terrific food, visited with some family, met with some Sandestin folks and added our touch to All That Jazz! Housekeeping comes in tomorrow and installs the linens and all the extras. Professional photos will be taken next week. We LOVED staying here and are so excited for the Sandestin experience that our rental guests will have!
