So Rod Roberts and I did a thing today. After much much thought, we decided to sell our condo, R&R Beach Retreat We are currently building our forever home in Panama City Beach and want to put all our energy into our new home. We want to thank all our friends and new friends, who supported us over the last 6 years. We hope you all made as many memories as we did when you visited. The new owner is going to also rent so if you want to continue to vacation at the condo, hit me up.

Just a friendly reminder about our turtles 🐢

This is NO April Fool’s Joke, but……

We are ONE month away from nesting season! 🤩🎉🐢

While our lovely sea turtle mommas still have a little while before they visit our beaches, we know that many of our out-of-town supporters are already here, or will be soon! 😎🏖️🚙

Even though it is not nesting season yet, you can still help our local sea turtles by taking these simple actions during your time in paradise 🏝️⬇️

✅ Be sure to take all items with you when you leave the beach! Objects such as inflatable floats, beach balls and trash can be blown into the water and become a hazard for marine animals 🐢

✅ If you are fishing, be sure to properly dispose of all fishing line and gear. Sea turtles can get hooked or become entangled in loose gear which can be hard to break free or avoid 🎣

✅ If you see an injured or stranded sea turtle during your time here, please call our hotline at (850) 865-4503! 📞☎️❗️

Our current guest got to check something off her bucket list and swim with the dolphins 🐬🐬 Her face says it all. This trip wasn't just a regular vacation either. Tammy just retired from the Huber Heights Police Department after 32 years of service!! 💙🖤 So glad you guys are having a great week!!

**Unfortunately this happens occasionally. There were no external factors found that may have contributed to this. The good news is that loggerhead sea turtles can lay up to 6 nests per season. We are hopeful her other nests had some success!**

It's been a busy couple weeks at R&R Beach Retreat. We have been busy making improvements.
Our favorite granite installer from Ohio drove to the condo and installed new quartz countertops in each of the bathrooms and marble in the kitchen! All new sinks and faucets.
Then we came down this week and installed new glass backsplash in the kitchen.
We changed out the wallpaper on the back of the island and got new dining room chairs.
Oh and we got engaged! 💍
We hope all of our guests love the new improvements. We are always striving to make our home away from home the best vacation getaway for all of our fantastic guests!
