Uniquely designed and handmade Trees Of Life creations. Trees are ubiquitous in the fabric of our lives.

The symbolism of trees and leaves is apparent in common metaphors such as the Tree of Life, our ancestral heritage depicted in ‘family trees’, how we ‘put down roots’ when we create lasting relationships, and in the phrase ‘turning over a new leaf’ when we experience significant change for the better. Anna's Trees Of Life galleries are filled with all kinds of unique and different Trees of Life ..

The Hanging Tree by Jennifer Lawrence (Lyrics)
... and the moral of the story is...
Before we can restore our sense of community with each other, we must first restore our family life. Rebuilding freedom by rebuilding the family.

Woodland Fairy-pod - Quarantine
$15
Fairies are very shy and sensitive beings, but with some luck, or fate perhaps, you might find evidence of Fairies near vegetation and animals. If you are really lucky you may even catch a rare glimpse of one around your own household. However, you are more likely to experience them in the Wild... like the Woodlands. That’s where Fairies really feel at home.
Fundamentally Fairies are protective, loving beings and will favor you if you are respectful and kind to Mother Nature. They don't harm humans, but they can be mischievous and sometimes downright mean to those individuals they perceive as threatening to animals and the well being of the Earth.
Fairies only show themselves to people who are true of heart and pure in spirit. If you do win their trust and their love, then they might stay, bring you guidance and good fortune and occasionally play a practical joke on you as a way of being playful. So watch out, lighten up and treat your environment respectfully.
Woodland Fairy-pods are coming to your home as acrylic hand-painted rocks with magical potential.

The strangler fig begins its life in the crown of its victim. It gently throws the roots and establishes contact with the soil. He then wraps the tree until the original tree is completely surrounded and dies. The strangler fig occupies the victim's space, which eventually rots, leaving the frame of the fig.

A year in the life of a Beech Tree
Trees are beautiful all year round!
The common Beech (Fagus sylvatica) is a large, deciduous tree. The flowers are pollinated by the wind and are the source of a nut known as the beechnut or beech mast that is encased in a spiky husk. Humans and wildlife can eat the nuts. You do not want to eat too many at once, however, as they can be mildly toxic in large quantities due to tannins in the nuts. 🍂

Seeds that glide
Seed aviation 🌱🍃 Aircraft designers have tried to build a wing as efficient as this one but failed. Even the faintest updraft produced by the slightest therm is enough to lift this little glider with its seed passenger and so extend its flight. The Javan cucumber (Alsomitra macrocarpa) is a vine that climbs the trees of tropical forests toward the canopy and sunlight. At great heights, it grows pods that contain hundreds of winged seeds. As the wind blows against the opening of the pods, the samaras are peeled away and released. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rX--Y5gCnE
