6/20 - 9:30am Trip - It was a foggy morning off the coast of , but the visibility was still good for sightings! We first saw a ! The largest animal on the planet. We were even lucky enough to see it fluke up when diving. After we left the blue giant, we encountered a cow/calf pair! A great morning on !

Lots of excitement earlier this week out on with local celebrity Casper, the Albino Risso , making an appearance to the delight of everyone!

Not to be outdone, this very active engaged in continuous tail throwing and pectoral flipper slapping! Never a dull moment out here!

6/17 - 9:30am Trip - Our trip this morning was a big success! Our crew and passengers were lucky enough to find a group of 6 feeding alongside a couple hundred sea lions, not to mention all the birds getting in on the action! It was mesmerizing to watch the all come to the surface at once to feed with the other animals!

Watching all of these predators work collaboratively together to catch as much prey as possible is not a common sight to behold throughout the world’s , but we are grateful to be able to observe such a sight here in the . The Bay provides an incredible buffet for many majestic carnivores, thanks to the nutrient rich waters that congregate here.

Exciting past couple days here on the Bay!

6/14 - 9:30 Trip: Friday morning our passengers and crew were thrilled to find , specifically the CA140Bs, otherwise known as Louise’s Pod. We enjoyed watching the pod of , as nothing beats this black and white sighting here on ! We also spotted some , and watched one in particular before we had to head back to harbor.

12:30pm Trip: The hung out with some scattered this afternoon. The grand finale of the trip was a beautiful breach directly in front of the boat! It was a perfect way to end a magical day out on the water. Thank you to everyone who joined us today!

6/15 - 9:30am Trip: Choppy waters out on Bay today! We may experienced some large swells, but despite the adverse conditions our captain and crew still managed to find a ! We were also fortunate enough to find a black-footed albatross as well! You never know what you’ll find out on the water unless you come out with us and see!

6/12 - 9:30am Trip - It was an overcast and brisk day out on . As we headed out into the bay we saw a minke off in the distance that has been in the area for a while. We then saw a pod of pacific white-sided that were feeding on a school of fish that some sea birds were also feeding on. They were playful and came over to look at the vessel for a little bit before heading away.

We then found a few scattered that were feeding at depth further out. A few of them were curious about the boat and came over briefly. There was a cow and calf pair that came over for a bit before we headed away.

We also spotted some rhinoceros auklets in the area around the .

6/10 - 9:30am Trip: Monday was a perfect start to the week! Our trip watched 5 consistently but saw a total of about 8-10 . We even got to watch a mom and calf, the latter of which was rolling around and playing in the water. Our passengers on the and crew were also delighted with two black-footed albatrosses. Their immense wingspan was quite a sight to behold!

6/11 - 9:30am Trip: While our trip may have gotten off to a foggy start, that didn't stop our team from spotting ! We were lucky enough to come across one minke , as well as about five or six . The conditions made finding the whales that much more exciting!

6/9 - 12:30pm Trip - A beautiful afternoon all the way around with gorgeous weather and amazing ! There was a group of four adult all hanging out. They delighted everyone with a vast array of fluke dives, a vertical feeding lunge, and some pectoral slaps! A perfect cap to an another great weekend here on

6/7 - 9.30am Trip - What a great kickoff to another great weekend here on ! We had three friendly come up to our boat to everyone’s delight! A pretty epic trip!

6/8- 12.30pm Trip - Today on our afternoon trip, we got some great looks at rissos and ! We even saw several breaching, but by far the highlight of the trip was having a open its mouth right next to the boat and showing us its baleen. The final surprise of the trip was spotting a black footed albatross! Both the waters and winds were calm, allowing us for yet another splendid day of .

6/5 - 9:30am Trip - It was a bright day as we headed out to the . We found a few scattered out in the bay. They were mostly feeding at depth, but most of the came over for a little bit to check us out for a bit before heading back to feeding.

6/3 - 9:30am Trip - The fog was as thick as pea soup when we started our trip into this morning. Thankfully, the fog cleared and we were treated to yet another wonderful day of . This time, we saw a pod of three adult swimming side by side accompanied by some rissos and pacific white sided !

Wild Times now on !!

5/30 - 9.30am Trip - Our trip today was a roller coaster! There were foggy conditions right outside the harbor, but once the fog broke we started to see some spouts! We saw several including a mom and calf pair! We were lucky to get some close up looks. As we were heading back into the harbor we were treated with a spectacular show! The active we encountered alternated pectoral flipper slapping and breaching! It was a great day to be out on the bay!

5/31- 9.30am Trip - This morning was beautiful! he water was a bit rough, but it calmed down in the middle of the trip. We saw lots of ! Including a mumma and bubba. We also saw a massive pod of (Risso’s, Pacific white sided). It was a wonderful and magical experience for us all!

5/29 - 12:30pm Trip - Everyone was out to play today! What amazing Video footage capture here by our amazing naturalists Emily Amelia and Alex Drzaic!!

Big breaches, , …and what a show it was today!! As we made our way out to , we encountered a pod of orcas! We followed them as they were pursuing a harbor porpoise. Soon we came upon a pod of Risso's and white sided dolphins! They swam alongside our boat the for a bit. On our return to , a lone started breaching near us! It was the perfect climax to an action packed day.

Happy Memorial Day! Amazing holiday weekend here on the Bay!

5/27 - 9:30am Trip - Continuing with our sightings yesterday of , both tours today had the wonderful opportunity to see more of these as they swam around the . We believe this pod to be number 51 under the California Killer Whale Project, containing a large male, Jimmy and females, Star and Aurora, accompanied by several younger . We followed these orcas around for a while and watched in awe as they came up to the surface and dove back down, then we ventured onward out into the bay and came across some that were feeding along some Sea lions! It was a fantastic sighting seeing all those marine mammals in one place.

5/26 - 3:30pm Trip - Today on our evening tour, we spent much of our time with a pod of ! The matriarch of the pod, her name is Aurora, and the big male, his name is Jimmy. The pod was comprised of 6 individuals, including a little baby that Aurora was showing how to breach out of the water. We spent most of our time following this pod around and watching as they flung themselves out of the water over and over again! They gave us so many fantastic views. Later on the trip, we came across a as well as two pods of rissos and pacific white sided ! It was such a great day out on the water!

5/25 - 9:30am Trip - It was a brisk and windy morning as we went out into the today. The visibility was pretty good. There were a quite a few scattered that were feeding at depth for the most part. We did find a pair that came over close briefly before going back to feeding at depth and were able to see a few of the do breaches in the area.

12:30pm Trip - Today was a splendid day out on the water, kicking off . We saw plenty of alongside some sea lions. Some of the sea lions gave us a show as they jumped in and out of the water around our boat . We also saw some great birds too, such as brown pelicans, gulls, cormorants, and sooty shearwaters.

5/18 - Today was one of the best days out on the water I've had in a while! For both our midday and afternoon trips, we witnessed breaching back to back, putting on a stunning display for everyone on board. I'll let the photos and videos speak for themselves.

5/19 - 9.30am - On the morning trip today the was super active. We had dozens of at varying distances around the boat throughout the entire trip. We saw plenty of breaches, and had one particular individual that was very friendly, pectoral slapping and breaching close to the boat for at least a half an hour. We rounded off our trip with a pod of 5 about 2 miles from the harbor. They were actively swimming around a small area and appeared to be toying with a group of sea lions.

12.30pm - On our second trip we returned to the same pod of orcas we saw briefly in the morning. At this time they were in the process of hunting a sea lion, and we were treated to a very active show with lots of jumps. We ended our trip by moving farther out and around the bay and looking at some .

5/16 - We had a whale of a day on ! As we left Harbor, we came upon a cow and calf pair of ! The calf was energetic as it breached multiple times and performed pectoral slaps on the surface. We soon came across a massive feeding taking place that included Risso's , they swam alongside our boat the and were porpoising as they began to swim off into the distance.

5/13 - 9:30am Trip - It was a nice brisk overcast day with very little swell out on . As we made our way out into the bay, we saw quite a few being very active at the surface. There were a few breaches, tail throws, pectoral fin slaps and rolling from the out there today to the delight of our passengers.

Two of the were curious and came very close to the boat during our tour as well before they took off.

5/11 - It may have been a foggy day out in the , but that certainly didn’t stop the from showing us their incredible abilities and unique adaptations!

9:30am Trip - We were lucky enough to find two , one of which swam parallel to our boat for nearly an hour. Our morning trip got to watch a sleep!

12:30pm Trip - Our guests and crew got to experience the feeling of being *surrounded* by humpback whales! We were gifted the sight of a double lunge feeding! All three of the crew members on board said it was their first view of a lunge feed all season! The beauty and strength of the truly never gets old. If you haven’t gotten the chance to come out on the water, now is the time!

5/8 - 9:30am Trip - It was sunny with a bit of swell as we went out into . A short while after leaving the harbor we found a that was pectoral fin slapping. After watching them for a little bit we went to another one that was also slapping their fins a bit further out.

We also found two that came over and were curious about us for a little bit before they took off.

5/6 - 9:30am Trip - Today was an amazingly clear and calm day out on the water. Guests were treated to not one, not two, not three, but FOUR different species of today! Those species in order were the long beaked common, pacific white-sided, Rissos , along with a northern right-whale dolphin that are rarely spotted here! It was a fantastic day for dolphins! We also saw a few as they came to the surface and even saw one breach 8 times from a distance!

5/3 - 9:30am Trip - It was a beautiful day today on ! A bit windy but the sun came out pretty soon after, and the weather was perfect! Saw some breaching, a pod of common , and sea lions. Beautiful and majestic!

!2:30pm Trip: Got quite cloudy this afternoon. Saw lots of birds, , and sea lions! We also had long beaked common dolphins riding our bow waves!! Definitely a wonderful trip!

5/1 - 9:30am Trip - It was a gorgeous day on ! As we departed , we came upon a massive pod of common ! They swam alongside our boat the and were porpoising all around us; a lone soon joined in the fun. We soon made our way further out into the bay where we came upon a cow and calf pair, the calf gave us some great looks of it's tail fluke as it rolled around.

4/30 - 9:30am Trip - Today was another beautiful day out on . As we left harbor we saw a feeding at depth, as well as several jumping sea lions and friendly pelicans. We decided to have an adventure and travel out a bit further and found some pacific white sided who road the boat waves and did some nice jumps for us. As we made our way back in we said hello to the from earlier who was still feeding and saw some very cute baby sea lions.
