I’m Jenna Dukes, pharmacist and small business owner at Cherry Grove Drug. Many of you know me from my pharmacy, where you and your family trust me to take care of your medical needs. On Election Day, I ask that you trust me with your vote and allow me to serve you on Horry County Council.
Since I announced my run for Council, I received overwhelming love and support from people of all walks of life. Behind me is an army of motivated, hard working people who have gone underrepresented for years by our current councilman. They are teachers, veterans, retirees, policemen, firefighters, doctors, nurses, small-business owners, realtors…. the list goes on. They are ALL eager for fresh, new leadership. They want a representative they can trust.
That being said, I picked up a few critics along the way. My opponent has called me many things, including “just a pretty face” and the “little girl from the pharmacy”. I hope that I have proven to you that I am more than that. I hope I have shown you who I am: a trusted, honest, and accessible leader for our community and dedicated to serving you. I might not always have the answers, but I will work WITH YOU and FOR YOU to move Horry County forward.
Horry County is out of control. As your Councilwoman, I will manage and prepare for future growth by repairing our roads, building new infrastructure, funding public safety to provide the resources our first responders need to keep our communities safe, and supporting our small businesses…all while keeping our taxes low.
As a pharmacist and community leader, I have had the honor of serving 1000’s of residents in North Myrtle Beach, Little River & Longs. Over the past few months, I have had the esteemed honor and privilege of meeting many new District 1 residents. If I have not had the chance to meet you yet and you still have questions about me or my campaign that you want answered before you cast your ballot on Tuesday, June 14th, you know where to find me - behind the pharmacy counter. Or give me a call at 843-865-0108.
