As the holiday weekend approaches, Gulf Islands National Seashore would like to remind visitors to park in designated parking spots only.

Parking on the side of the road, in bike lanes, on the sand, or on grass is illegal in the national park. Vehicles found in violation may be cited and/or towed.

Plan for a busy weekend and arrive early to ensure access to a legal parking spot. Areas will fill up fast, due to park closures. Please help us protect the park and .

- Properly disposing of hooks, lures, and fishing line
- Watch your step for shorebird and turtle nesting areas
