Based in Brooklyn, NYCRUNS produces approximately three dozen running events annually for the more than 50,000 athletes who cross our finish line, including our flagship Brooklyn Marathon & Half Marathon. NYCRUNS races are accurately measured, electronically timed, and produced by a highly trained team of event and medical professionals. Our post-race festivals feature fresh New York bagels (with

a shmear of course – this is New
York), fresh fruit, and a vibrant atmosphere led by a great DJ. Our overarching goal is to give athletes the chance to win their race by providing them with the best possible experience from the time they register until the moment they see their finish line photos. Simply put, week in and week out our goal is to put on the best races in New York City. In doing so, we want to be a relentlessly positive part of our customer’s lives; a meaningful partner to local businesses, local causes, and local runners; and a great employer to our diverse team of employees. Not all heroes wear capes... some wear running shoes and a bib. 🏃‍♂️❤️

runner Dr. Shane Naidoo was the last to finish—not because he slowed down, but because he stopped to save Chrystal Rinehold's life. After helping the Elizabeth High School girls basketball Head Coach through a cardiac event and accompanying her to the hospital, he returned to finish the race.

Now that's a whole new meaning to ! 🏅

Race day is almost here! 🎉 Here's the LEAST you need to know to #WinYourRace at the #NewJerseyHalfMarathonAnd5K: Bib & shirt pickup is available Friday 4:00-7:30 PM or race day 6:00-7:30 AM at Elephant Park. Beat the crowds by prioritizing that Friday pickup! Athlete arrival starts at 6:00 AM on race day. The best way to get to the race? Hop on the PATH train to Newport Station! 🚊 If you're driving, head to Newport North Garage and be parked by 6:30 AM to avoid closures. 🚗 Getting dropped off? Use the Staples Parking Lot at 613 Washington Blvd. Both races start at 8:00 AM—be in your corral by 7:45! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Bag check runs 6:00-7:30 AM at Lighthouse Point (clear bags only). Our Story

NYCRUNS put on about 35 races annually in New York City including the Queens Half Marathon (on the streets for the first time in November 2017), the Brooklyn Marathon, the Central Park Half Marathon, and the iconic Empire State Building Run-Up. Week in and week out, our goal is to produce running events that exceed the standards of the biggest and best events in the world while providing the atmosphere of a true community race. That means we produce accurately measured and timed races with appropriate on course support, exceptional race swag, and a festival that truly makes you want to celebrate your accomplishments with friends. We do this with the greatest city in the world as our jaw dropping backdrop. We’re honored to serve the New York City running community and are proud to welcome people from all over the world to join us at our races.
