Adrienne Wells currently is an independent business woman who does work as a pattern and sample maker that manufactures clothing and theatrical costumes in New York's fashion district. She has previously worked as a costumer for Dance Theatre of Harlem, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Ballet Hispanico, The Public Theatre, and The Metropolitan Opera before moving to the fashion industry in 1985
. Adrienne has worked for many prestigious designers such as Oscar de la Renta, Ralph Lauren, and Donna Karen before starting her own company in 1997. in fashion design from Pratt Institute in 1980. She continues to work with a wide variety of designers, artists, and performers. Adrienne's philanthropic contributions include mentoring teenagers and young adults who are interested in pursuing a career in the fashion and theatre arts industries. She reaches them through seminars, tours, and workshops.
