With incredible seaside view, varied inland landscapes and picturesque villages, a honeymoon along the Cinque Terre provides a charming setting for your romantic vacation.

Each of the five towns has something slightly different to offer. Manarola, perched on a cliff, is lined with vineyards growing grapes for the local dessert wine, Sciacchetra. The largest of the five villages Riomaggiore, is known for its scenery and awe-inspiring murals. Then there’s the resort-style Monterosso, illustrious Vernazza, and hilltop Corniglia known for its Vernaccia di Corniglia wine. There are plenty of other charming village on this stretch of coastline as well, all worth a visit and wander.

Buchetta del Vino, or Wine Window, can be found in Florence mostly in the Santo Spirito area across the Arno River. Most are on the walls of noble palaces to sell wine in a fiasco to avoid opening a shop and paying taxes. They were useful during the epidemic of 1630-1633 and revived again during the Covid-19 pandemic. Our favorite spot to buy a glass of wine through a window is Babae. Cin cin!
