Flexitoon Films have received Official Selection laurels at several international film festivals, including Kids First! Flexitoon also created and performed puppets for direct-to-video markets, and their Shining Time Station characters have been licensed for sale as toys. stival for Young People in Romania. Flexitoon has performed in venues ranging from elementary schools, colleges, libraries, hospitals, art festivals, theme parks and cultural centers, and have puppeteered Off-Broadway and at Lincoln Center. The Bendheim Gallery in Greenwich, CT, presented a six-week, multi-media exhibition with over 100 puppets from stage and screen called Art That Moves – The World of Flexitoon in conjunction with live Flexitoon performances. Each show sold out. In 2010 Flexitoon was contracted by the World Wildlife Federation to create a site-specific production for the Bronx Zoo which ran successfully on weekends throughout October, appearing before over 120,000 visitors. The not-for-profit arm of Flexitoon, LTD, is the Flexitoon Puppet Theatre. Their goal of bringing a permanent, professional, repertory puppet theater to New York City has attracted a sterling Board of Directors comprised of theatrical and professional luminaries including Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick, Sarah Jessica Parker, Tom Schumacher, Megan Mullally, Nick Offerman, and Ron Suskind.
