✨ Iconic ✨ What’s that one place you’ve always wanted to check off your bucket list?

I’ve known of Horseshoe Bend - and seen photos from it - practically my whole life. Admittedly, I’ve traveled the world, but have barely touched my own backyard 🙈

When the opportunity arose to detour to Horseshoe Bend from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, the answer was a resounding YES!

👉 I had expected it to be packed. To nudge through crowds or stand in a long line to get ~ that view ~

I couldn’t have been more wrong!

Honestly, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves … and that was really darn cool 🤩

💡 5FT Tip: Go midday and make sure to pack a big water bottle! While it’s only a 15 minute walk from the parking lot to Horseshoe Bend, there’s no sun cover and it is extremely hot 🔥

It’s me, hi 👋 Today I’m six weeks post-op from unexpected surgery on my cervical spine (ADCF surgery for those wondering).

I finally got to start physical therapy this week, and the sp*ed of my recovery is truly a blessing 🙏 I’m being taught a lesson in patience and resiliency, and grateful for it…

I know I’ve been a bit quiet on here. Social media just felt like *a lot* post-surgery, so I’ll slowly be easing back into it and I SO appreciate all of your support and warm messages ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve spent the last six weeks giving my body the rest it needed (which is SO hard for someone like me!) while working behind-the-scenes on UGC content for clients and teeing up next year’s brand partnerships. Here’s to hitting the ground running in Q1 🥳

Also, my neurosurgeon was absolutely incredible and if any of you suffer from nerve pain or spinal issues in the Tri-State area, I couldn’t recommend him more highly! 💡

When choosing BOLD colors, it’s important to balance them with neutrals — and we found that through newest collection launch with ! 🙌

We found our rug from the Rocky Collection (the design is ROC-03 Natural Fog) to be absolutely perfect for this room 🤩 It’s handmade in India - while adhering to the highest standards and transparency in production - and oh so cushy soft under our feet! This neutral, calming design brought light into our otherwise dark room, and we couldn’t be happier with it.

Who else here loves to SUP? 🙋‍♀️ It’s my favorite summer water activity and inflatable SUPs just launched in the US! 🤩

But seriously, I’m obsessed with this vanity 😍 Out of all of the things in our house, the master bath vanities were the most difficult decision for me. I wanted two 42-inch vanities, made of real teak, with a center sink, drawers on both sides, and soft close doors. Not particular or anything, right?! 😂 [a d] Thankfully checked every box and more, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with our decision!

Our house(warming) wouldn’t be complete without ’ Expedition II 🤲 Simply put, they helped make this big, cold house a cozy home. ad

Mark and I had an…extensive…wish list when it came to buying our first home and needed to figure out how to maximize our energy efficiency. We were beyond excited to find a house that not only had one fireplace, but two! [Let’s be real, your girl isn’t a huge fan of cold New England winters 😂]

Immediately after moving in, we installed two wood burning fireplace inserts from Quadra-Fire - the industry leader in functionality and innovation - as a personal recommendation from my uncle. This is a friendly reminder to take a breath. It’s easy to get caught up in the chaos of life that we forget to slow down and simply be ☺️

One of my favorite local getaways is - it’s this beautiful seaside inn that makes you feel like family.

I’m SO proud of them for being named one of ’s Top 500 Hotels in the World. So 👏 well 👏 deserved 👏

Not only are their rooms cozy and activities enjoyable, but their food is some of the best I’ve ever had. Shout out to for making such delightful dishes🧑‍🍳

Do you love this bridge? A lot of people do…that’s why it’s called Lover’s Bridge 😉 This bridge is a perfect example of Taiwan’s juxtaposition between the traditional and the modern. If you stick along long enough, you can catch a pretty sunset over the adjacent Fisherman’s Wharf too! 🌅

Aside from cool architecture, you’ll find a bit of everything in Taiwan…

Sun Moon Lake is one of the most beautiful places I visited in Taiwan, and cannot be missed! ☀️ 🌚 💧

Make your way up the Ci-en Pagoda for the best bird's eye view, and once you’re done, be sure to check out Wen Wu Temple nearby. At the entrance you will find two colossal Chinese guardian lions that are sure to leave an impression! 🤯

We were truly blown away by the beautiful, serene countryside, and absolutely cannot wait to return to .na 😍

Wait, are we in Europe? I knew that Lancaster County was known for Pennsylvania Dutch, but I hadn’t expected to be floored by some of the architecture 😍

We spent the weekend exploring and stumbled upon Mount Hope. With over 200 years of history, Mount Hope has grown from a private estate to a flourishing historic estate featuring entertainment, festivals, theater productions, an on-site winery, brewery, and more 🙌

I heard they have the Renaissance Festival here each fall, and hope to check it out next year! 🤺

Said YES 💍 to this man forever, in the place where it all began!

Under any other circumstances, Mark and I never would have crossed paths. We met on Tinder in April 2020, as we both found ourselves unexpectedly with family in CT. I should’ve been in Aruba; he should’ve been in LA. Just a few hours after we matched, he invited me on a virtual wine date — messy bun, comfy clothes, and all — and the rest is history 🥹 After speaking nonstop for two weeks, we truly got to know one another, and decided to meet up…

For a socially-distanced, outdoor date in my parent’s backyard. 🤦‍♀️ Mark was a trooper, drove an hour and a half down to me, agreed to p*e behind a tree if need be, and understood there’d be no physical contact.

☀️ Any other year, it would have been a beautiful, sunny May day…

But the day we met?

❄️ It snowed.

We moved our date into my dad’s work shed, put a space heater between us, and fell in love despite the thoroughly unusual circumstances 😂

Almost 6 months ago, Mark got down on one knee, right where it all started… and we couldn’t be happier ❤️ Mark, I love you so much and cannot wait for our life together!

Now it’s time to find a destination wedding venue! Ideas welcome 😉

You lookin’ at me? My love for the Lancaster Hot Air Balloon Festival is clearly mutual 😏

Each year, there’s a mass ascension of balloons at sunrise and sunset for three days straight. We so enjoyed watching as the balloons illuminated the sky, and then following along as they glided through the countryside of Discover Lancaster.

This special event takes place each year, and is the perfect excuse to plan that weekend getaway to Lancaster County 🙌

Balloons, fireworks, hayrides, corn mazes, and live music fill the festival grounds, and it’s truly an amazing experience – we can’t wait to return next year!

5FT Tip: Catch the balloons at sunrise. We were lucky enough to see 40 balloons rise high in the sky, and then we hopped in our car and followed them through the countryside. It was incredible 🤩 A D

What an ! I’d always wanted to visit Yosemite, but never expected to have such sweeping landscapes to ourselves! The cherry on top was this beautiful sparkling in the Californian sun ☀️

I love that jewelry can tie you to a place, a moment in time. This day of our trip was unexpected. We drove hours to get there, got delayed because of construction, and ultimately got to our trailhead at 4pm. We enjoyed the trail, but a local told us about an unmarked rock scramble … which ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. I mean, look at these views 😍

And now, whenever I clasp this necklace and wear these earrings, I think of the moment that we had this stunning view of Yosemite to ourselves. 🙌

I always try to incorporate nature on my travels, and the same rings true for our recent trip to . After two days exploring the local towns in the county, we got moving! 🥾

We checked out four nearby trails, and Chickies Rock Overlook was one of our favorites! A 30 minute, flat, out and back trail yields a beautiful view over the Susquehanna River. Next time we visit, we have a list of more trails to check out! 🤩

Imagine having baby goats hop on and off you with no rhyme or reason, all while trying to hold a yoga pose! 🐐

Let’s just say that goat yoga simply has to be added to your bucketlist, as it’s an absolute blast! We spent two hours laughing and cuddling baby goats in Discover Lancaster and couldn’t recommend it more highly 😆

Look at this beauty! I’d be lying if I told you that I knew much about lynx before we went to VisitNarvik, but while there I learned that these gorgeous creatures are typically found in the northern parts of the world - Scandinavia, Siberia, Canada, and the northern United States - where there is a lot of snow 🌨 This little guy walked so close to us, that I was able to capture it on my GoPro HERO8 without using any zoom! 🙀
