The administrators monitor and get rid potential spammers and scammers by first screening all who request to become a member of the group and secondly by deleting posts property solicitation posts which violate group rules and/or banning the rules violator. Vacation renters can help as well. As a vacation renter you should NEVER receive a PM you did not request to receive. If you do, please report it and also we highly recommend you treat such as scam. Activity for booking houses is at it's "low" period. This happens every year at this time. The early bird bookers for next summer have already done their thing. Activity will get brisk sometime shortly after Jan 1. There are still great options. If you need a particular week, NOW is the time. There are some very HIGH prices along with REASONABLE prices out there. Bargain pricing is probably a thing of the past. Now is the time if you are looking for REASONABLE. The property values at OIB have skyrocketed the past 3 years, and new owners are trying to pay for them with increased rents, with moderate success.
