"Best place to stay in the gluf shores. Clean, beautiful and comfortable beds. The location is great. Only 1 or 2 minutes from all the store, Restaurants and bars w/live music. But yet your not in the traffic and noise from it. The beach is not to busy because of it being a private beach. The scenery is gorgeous!! "Our group of 20 family & friends from Oklahoma had a wonderful week in Ola Vista beach house in Gulf Shores. This is a perfect beach house with plenty of room for a large group. The elevator is so handy and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking for a large group. We loved the deck and the pool. The beds were so comfortable and the adjoining bathrooms were clean. Could use some instructions on the use of the various TVs. Never got the TV in the “great room” to function appropriately. They all worked a little differently. "We enjoy Emerald Skye b/c it’s not a big huge condo building. Our unit was acceptable and adequate for the most part. Bathroom storage was not good. There is no lid on the stool, no shelf of any type to put Ditty bags on so they were on the toilet tank. Always being mindful not to knock them into the stool. Only an uncomfortable couch in the living area. These are constructive criticisms.

"The place was good overall. It’s old, but clean. Could use updates throughout, but again…it was clean. Had some rust spots on outside of the refrigerator, but inside was clean & kept everything cold. Just old😀maybe like me.

Others reviews helped us prepare. Someone said it had a musty smell. I felt it was more of a chlorine smell, but that made me think of it being clean. We brought plugins and that took care of.." says Jeannie on Google

The unit itself could use a bit more seating in the living room and dressers in the bedrooms would have been helpful, but we made do with what we had and we had a blast during the time we were well. We sadly caught a bug right at the beginning of our trip, so we were stuck in the unit for 2/3 of our stay as it passed through all family members. "Everything was great except for 1 major issue. The elevator went out of service the 1st night there. (Arrived on a Friday and departed on a Tuesday). It was not "user error" - for not closing the doors properly - as the property manager tried to tell us. It stopped short of the floor and just stopped working. We had a 90 year old and a couple 70 year olds and this was not helpful. No elevator for luggage, groceries,.." says John on Google
