Together Again and it feels SO right! 💙💙
It has been a little while since I have posted, but I have been taking my time to answer clients individually about my experience with the reopening of Walt Disney World. 🏰 🎢
I took the amazing opportunity to stay on property and attend the parks during re-opening week. While it was different from any other Disney experience-I do have to say that it was a blast! 💥
I can honestly say that I have never felt safer than when I was on property. Every guest was so respectful when it came to social distancing, everyone wore a mask and the parks were only at about 10% capacity. I felt like a true VIP. Like the parks were open just for me. There are portable hand washing stations throughout the parks, hand sanitizing stations at the entrance of each line in addition to boarding and exiting each ride. Cast members also frequently sanitize each ride. There are physical distancing markers almost everywhere in addition to plexiglass dividers for lines. Each guest truly does their part to remain distanced and in their appropriate space. The resorts are also operating at a limited capacity. When we checked into the we were only the 2nd reservation to check in the entire day! 😳
With it being a phased reopening, most resorts, restaurants and shops are open now and park capacity is still at an all time low. I don’t think I have ever felt a more personal bond with the cast members and other guests. The magic lives on and it feels stronger than ever. My mood all day today given the fact: I was not able to check in with my girlies for our Spring Break Vacay at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Who’s with me?! Also...swipe to see my reaction when I found out we indeed, would not be going (a few weeks ago) 😂
Haha! I like to make light out of ANY situation! What I would really like to talk about is-Memory Maker. Have you let a vacation pass you by without this (small) add on?! 😱 There are countless Photo Pass locations across WDW resort ready to capture that magical moment for you and your loved ones. They can even sprinkle in a little bit of “extra” magic if you ask 😉

If you know me, you know my absolute favorite type of cuisine would have to be sushi! I am a major foodie though, so it has to be GOOD! On my most recent visit to WDW I tried a few new dishes at and they surely did not disappoint 🙌. From the moment I entered the restaurant to the send off at the end, it was truly an *experience*. One I feel every raw food-foodie should enjoy 🍣 😉

I’m SO happy we made it to Magic Kingdom before they hit capacity today! Visiting MK and shopping along Main Street USA on the final day of my trip is a tradition of mine. Did you know that the crowds can reach up to 100,000 before they stop letting people in the park? 😱

Current situation: airplane mode ✈️
I am taking my annual family Walt Disney World vacation for the holidays! I will be on property from December 25th through January 1st. Just a reminder that my response time might be slower than usual, and don’t forget to stay up to date on my stories! I can’t wait to share all of the new experiences with all of you!! 🏰🎢✨

Let’s talk about Character Dining Experiences 🥘
Not all Character Dining Experiences have to be in the parks, buffet only and congested. Some families book these experiences, yet dread them when it comes time for their reservation. THAT is one thing that can make my heart sad for guests. There is an experience for EVERYONE at WDW. at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is one of my favorite Character Experiences. You can experience a 3 course meal in a uniquely themed restaurant, dining with rare characters, watching a dinner show, while ordering from a customizable menu. I personally know the struggle with food allergies, and during the opening week of the newly reimagined Artist Point Restaurant (Dec. 2018) they not only knew which items were safe for me, but they even customized the fried mushrooms to be gluten and dairy free due to my inquiry 😮🥰
Everything within the restaurant is themed. From the decor, to the characters, the food-even the drinks! I personally suggest you try, “The Smoking Mirror” off of the Wickedly Refreshing Cocktails list 💯. Bonus points if you are on the Disney Dining Plan. This restaurant is only 1 table service credit (always subject to change). Dance the night away with Snow White and D***y, don’t forget to show off your best scowl with Grumpy, and do your best (although it will never happen 😂🤷‍♀️) to get the Evil Queen to smile 👑 😃 🥃 🌳 ✨

✨Disney’s Contemporary Resort✨
Three words I love. Put them together and they create MAGIC! A goal of mine is to stay at every resort on Disney Property! While I have experienced close to a dozen to date, I still have a little ways to go 😇🤪. I could go on and on about this resort, but for now I’ll just point out a few of my favorite highlights ☺️.
The Contemporary is an iconic resort hotel located in the Magic Kingdom area of WDW property. It is ONE of THREE resorts that have access to the monorail and can zip you over to parks within minutes. Personally, I like to walk to MK first thing in the morning (FYI-this Resort is the ONLY of the three that has a walking path to the park) and then take the monorail on our way back when we are tired. You will be dropped off on the 4th floor concourse and have almost immediate access to several restaurants and shops before heading back to your room.
While we’re on the topic of food-if you know me, you know I am a really big foodie. A food snob. Sorry, I said it. I like good food and I cannot lie 😋. is one of my all time favorite restaurants-ever! Not only do they have an amazing brunch buffet that runs daily featuring unique dishes such as sweet potato pancakes, house made whipped honey pecan butter and seasonal eggs Benedict (still SO hoping they’ll bring back the key lime bennies!- don’t knock it til ya try it! They are amaze!!), but they also have a rotational dining menu for lunch and dinner featuring unique dishes inspired from all over the world using LOCALLY SOURCED INGREDIENTS 💥❤️. The staff in incredibly knowledgeable and they can help you navigate the menu, customize dishes and work through dietary allergies/restrictions. Not to mention, the spirits are unique and the decor like none other! Definitely a must every time we visit!
Now spinning off of decor-that could be one of the things I love most about the resort. The Contemporary theme. You won’t find design such as theirs anywhere else! Plus, how would you like to watch Magic Kingdom’s fireworks from your own hotel room? 😍💥💜

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party has to be hands down, one of my favorite events at WDW! It is a special ticketed event that runs several days a week starting in August and running through Halloween 🧡. The party is from 7 pm to midnight, but you can enter the park as early as 4 pm! You can enjoy special treats throughout the park-exclusive to the party 🎉, meet rare characters, enjoy a Halloween parade, go trick or treating (don’t worry-it’s the good stuff, and your sweet tooth could be satisfied for a year!), celebrate with the Sanderson Sisters during the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, take advantage of low wait times for rides and attractions, and so SO much more!!

Everyone loves to celebrate on Disney Cruise Line! With it being Halloween season, there are of course SO many itineraries that offer Halloween inspired events. The most recent onboard the Disney Magic was Mickey’s Mouse-Querade party! A 3 level deck party hosted inside the lobby atrium. It features several different characters (along with the fab 5, of course!) all dressed in their best Halloween costumes 👌. Trick or treating on all three decks, a DJ hosting a dance party, a costume contest between guests onboard, and special surprises throughout the entire day! Book a Halloween on the High Seas Cruise and you will be entertained with special events from start to finish!

I don’t know about you, but I absolutely LOVE getting dressed up!
There are so many opportunities to show off your style while sailing on Disney Cruise Line. One of my favorites being formal night. Most itineraries will offer a formal and/or semi formal night (completely optional, of course!) if the sailing is seven nights or longer.
Want to keep your luggage light? No problem! You can always rent formal attire to wear on board. I can help guide you along the way to make sure you don’t miss out on any opportunity to have the best sailing ever!

Did you know that almost every sailing on Disney Cruise Line offers a Pirate Night? Guests have the opportunity to get dressed up (not a requirement though, so if that’s not your scene you don’t need to worry about standing out), dine at restaurants with specialty themed cuisine, meet rare characters such as Captain Hook and Mr. Smee, and attend a multi level deck party with singing dancing and fireworks!! (Fireworks subject to change based on weather conditions)

When you book a cruise with Disney cruise Line, you are given the opportunity to purchase several different limited edition themed popcorn buckets! Limited merchandise is available at the parks during the special ticketed event-Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, but how sweet would it be to not wait in line?! 🍿 🎃 👻 🖤

Did you know that in addition to several broadway style performances, comedy and/or magic shows, and first run movies (before they even hit the theatres!), each ship in the Disney Cruise line fleet offers at least one restaurant with a character dining experience. No advance reservations required! It is included in the cost of your trip and you are guaranteed this very special experience through rotational dining. *little tip* you can always request a table near the stage. (Obviously not guaranteed), but guest services as well as the concierge staff will do everything they can to accommodate your desires to ensure the most magical voyage possible!
