The best way to explore Lake Garda?? By boat of course! It was a gorgeous day relaxing on the water and exploring the nearby little towns, stopping for a delicious pasta for lunch!

Welcome to the Dolomites!!! We boarded the cable car in Bolzano for the most incredible view of vineyards and classic Tyrol style homes going up the mountain! We took a train up even higher where we took a walk to see the “Earth Pyramids,” mysterious cone shaped rock structures naturally formed by the elements. We had a beautiful panoramic lunch at Parkhotel Holzner with local wines!

Today we explored the islands off of Venice - Murano and Burano!
We took a beautiful boat to the islands and enjoyed some sparkling wine along the way! We watched a demo of the famous Murano glass and delicate handmade lace products on Burano. For lunch we had the most fresh local seafood!!!

Today we visited the gorgeous Cenci winery, nestled in a peaceful valley amongst the dolomite mountains! We tried their sparking wines and Chardonnay, which were perfectly paired with some of the best local meats and cheeses.
We learned so much about the fermentation process that takes place in the bottle, and we danced in the vineyards!!! ☀️🍷

Ciao from Matera!!!
There is nowhere in the world like this place, its mysterious history makes it one of the most unique destinations in Italy. Evacuated in 1952 due to poor living conditions, it has been totally revitalized.

We had a lovely aperitivo at the hotel overlooking the panoramic view, followed by a very informational walking tour, exploring churches, and a tasting of the famous bread of this region. Later we will even have the opportunity to ride a tuk tuk and see the ancient caves!
