I've never been an art collector... but I am now! I brought down a few small original pieces by a local Portland artist, created a few of my own, however, it's the art I've purchased here that I LOVE most of all.

Casa Cash can sleep 4 guests. The loft has a queen bed, with a fold down twin sofa in the West Wing and another twin daybed in the East Wing. With pleanty of linens for all.

The terrace, one of my favorite places... having my morning coffee watching the cruise ships come in, afternoon sunbathing is a must, evenings reading a book, every night a beautiful sunset, AND you'll never miss the nightly fireworks.

We've stocked the Casa Cash kitchen with pretty much everything you need for cooking your favorites. Microwave, air fryer, convection oven, instapot, 4 different coffee makers, gas stovetop, and even an ice machine. Another bonus is that we use water directly from the tap! It's still true that drinking water in Mexico is often not the best idea but we've had zero issues in both of our apartments. We can also have water delivered... costs about $5usd for a 5 gallon jug.

Another "bonus" of Casa Cash is having 2 full baths! We've got our "guest bath" in the East Wing and a "master bath" just off the West Wing. You can even shower while looking out over the ocean or taking in the sunset!

Our double studio truly does feel like 2 separate apartments. The West Wing, as we call it, has a 180 view of the entire bay! You can see from the Marina & Resort areas to the north all the way to the Romantica Zone to the south... and everything in between.

It's OFFICIAL... our Villa Volk availability calendar has now opened up through May 2023 (and beyond)! You still have plenty of time for a fabulous, relaxing, exciting vacation during this year's High Season! Come on Portland folks... imagine an escape from the weather up there in exchange for the sun, sea, and sand in Puerto Vallarta?

Has the thought ever crossed your mind... "I want to be somewhere sunny & tropical for the holidays!" PV definately celebrates right!

Villa Volk is the perfect location!

Nightly shows, the Malecon's Holiday Village (complete with an ice rink... steps from the beach) and the giant tree next to the famous arches, restaurants & bars are decked out... did I mention Santa's on the beach? (a personal favorite 😉)

One of the most meaningful of the festivities is Los Posadas, "a celebration with great religious meaning where entire neighborhoods 'accompany', in a procession, the Virgin Mary & St. Joseph as they search for an inn where the baby Jesus can be born." Each night you will actually see "Mary & Joseph" on a donkey, slowing proceeding through the streets and on the Malecon.

Additional Details & Info...

* Nightly Rates (in total): $49 our family, $59 our friends, and $69 friends of friends.
* 5th floor walk-up (no elevator). The stairs are wide and short so it's really pretty easy.
* Safe & well-lit quiet street. Security gate entrance to the building. Only 6 units in the building with great neighbors.
* We don't have a pool onsite but the ocean is at your feet. However, whenever we want to "lounge" we simply go to a nearby hotel (easy walking distance) that offers very inexpensive pool day passes, avg $200-$300pesos = $10-15usd. Typically, at least half of that cost goes toward any poolside food & drinks.
* We'll post an updated availability calendar after each "reservation" we get to make choosing your dates easy.
* AC, wifi, bottled water delivered, beach towels & umbrella, binoculars 'cause we can spot whales in the bay, umbrella (for the occasional momentary downpour), even shopping bags for those grocery store trips ALL provided.

The bathroom has plenty of room but, how can we say, is a work in progress. Although there is a great shower my "colorful mind" is still a bit thrown having only terra cotta & beige tile as a palate.
