Susan has received training and teaching certifications in Iyengar (form and alignment based), Vinyasa (flowing yoga), Anusara (heart centered yoga) and Viniyoga (therapeu
tic yoga). Susan has studied and practiced meditation for over 30 years in Transcendental Meditation, Vipassana (Mindfulness) and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. Susan has taught at yoga studios, athletic clubs, corporations, retirement homes, retreat centers and exclusive spas such as Rancho La Puerta in Tecate, Mexico. Her style of teaching is articulate, nurturing, supportive, calm and non-threatening. Her vast experience through her own practice and physical injuries and challenges has taught her understanding, patience and compassion with her students. The many modalities studied, allows her to tailor the practice to the students needs, both physically and mentally.
