Chauffeur Drivers Wanted! Working as a chauffeur is about more than driving from point A to point B with passengers in the vehicle. Chauffeurs often work for individual clients and have to be aware of their changing needs and schedules as necessary. Drivers need to be well-groomed, professional, courteous, and dependable. Position requires proficient interpersonal and communication skills, moderate reading, writing, and grammar skills, auditory and visual skills, ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, lift, reach, and push or pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
Compensation: Drivers typically end up making between 15 to 20% tips while earning an hourly rate as required by New York State.
Employment type: part-time
Hours are based on your availability and customer demand.
Our company services Monroe and surrounding counties. Knowledge of the NYS beverage trails a plus as well as the City of Rochester, Buffalo, and Syracuse airports.
Requirements:
· Positive attitude/team player
· Clean driving record
· Knowledge of safe driving rules
· Experience in the service industry
· Able to work with clients from different backgrounds
· Well-groomed and articulate
· Professional and reliable
· Driver's license background check performed
· Night and weekend availability (weekday days are also available)
· Applicants must be 25 years of age or older
· Ability to follow and remember instructions
· Fastidious commitment to on-time performance
· Relentless dependability and responsible
· Professional dress (example: black or dark suit, tie, and white buttoned-up dress shirt)
· Must have a cell phone, with GPS or an individual GPS
· Must be able to read a map
Must have a clean DMV record for the past 5 years and a CDL Class B Passenger Endorsement license. The driver will be subject to periodic routine background checks.
Chauffeurs perform the following tasks:
• Follow all NYS DOT guidelines.
• Picking passengers up at their location.
• Checking car conditions.
• Ensuring that the vehicle is equipped with necessary amenities.
• Keeping record of car expenses.
• Opening doors for the passengers.
• Carry luggage, assist with personal belongings.
• Assist with reasonable personal requests of passengers.
• Ability to maintain control of unruly passengers.
