We had our first Christmas season here at the train depot and the first snowy Christmas that we can remember in Oregon here on the coast! We tried to make each room festive and put lights around the outside of the depot as well!

We hosted our first Friendsgiving at the train depot and had a great time! We didn’t get any pics of people but the food and tables look great lol!

Crazy week at the train depot as a storm tried to huff and puff and blow our house down! Turned out to not be too bad just some ridge cap that needed to be nailed back in. It will take more than a regular old storm to do anything significant to this old place considering it's been here since the early 1900's and has seen the worst nature can throw at it!

Finally got the opportunity to meet Mike A today, the writer of "Storytelling". Awesome book about some iconic places along our section of the Oregon coast including our house the original Rockaway Beach Train Depot! You should pick up the book but if you stay in our house there will be a copy you can look through as you enjoy our historic home!
