"My Mother, daughter, sister and two Aunts rented Saluda Avalon May 11-14, 2017 as a launching point for our girls getaway Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) adventure! My daughter and her pony were competing at the TIEC this past weekend, and this house was the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of the show grounds, and an easy 16 minute drive (exactly!) from the TIEC facility. It was so nice to be able to have the option to cook meals at "home" rather than pay the expensive horse show restaurants prices. It was also incredibly special to have a safe, comfortable place to relax and visit together.

The beds were incredibly soft and the kitchen was well appointed. There was plenty of room for all six of us to have our own beds and the home is quiet and nestled into the side of a hill with only a few (very quiet) neighbors. I highly recommend renting this home and especially recommend it to any equestrian visitors who may be showing at TIEC, Harmon Field or at FENCE. The house is a very short (5 minute) walk from a great pizza place and a 10 minute walk from our favorite restaurant in town (the Purple Onion!)."
