We had a two our ferry ride from Naxos to Santorini and were all impressed how new, clean, spacious and comfortable the cruise was. 🛳

Everyone we came across is careful and understands the importance of wearing a mask. So in any indoor space or crowded outdoor spaces we see people wearing masks.😷

It was fairly empty which made the experience even more pleasant and the ferry had a large outdoor deck with fresh air. 🌬

The views were spectacular of the Aegean Sea and other small islands like Ios. 💙

Farm to table 🍃🇬🇷

I had the great honor to spend some time with Juliana to learn some Greek dishes from her 🥘

Juliana is a gem! She has previously cooked for during his visit to Naxos. She is kind, patient and very enthusiastic! 😊

The opportunity to learn authentic Greek cooking from one of the best chefs on the island, was one of my favorite memories in Naxos. 🙏

Naxos is the largest of the Cyclades and has so many great things to offer.👍

From diving, to hiking, to wind surfing and cheese tasting🧀 😊

The island has a great variety of different landscapes from beautiful secluded beaches to breathtaking mountain views.🏔

The people are so hospitable and friendly and many of the restaurants and shops are family businesses that have been passed on from one generation to another. 💕

Now more than ever, we recognize that our connections with loved ones produce the most meaningful moments in our lives and that some of the smallest, most unassuming moments can be unpredictably wonderful.💙

Greece has been on my bucket list for years. When I booked a trip to Germany to spend some time with my family, they surprised me with a spontaneous trip to Greece. 🇬🇷

I feel grateful that I get to create more wonderful memories with them in the coming weeks.🙏

Love that we are surrounded by such beautiful nature 🍃

We have been exploring different hikes the past few weekends and we are in awe with the beauty around us. 🥾

Each hike is unique and offers a different feel and set of views.

Steep Ravine hike has enormous trees, a running creek and a mystic feel to it. 🌲

After a long and fun hike this morning, we explored a little up north of San Francisco and ended up in Bodega Bay.🦞

This town is popular for its fresh seafood, in particular, oysters.🦪

We also found some cute candy stores selling delicious salt water taffy.🍭

The highlight is the coastal trail with its rocky stones. So beautiful 😍 We later found out that you can watch whales from here too. 🐳

Definitely worth a day trip from San Francisco. 🚗 🤗
