Happy Thursday…and oh look…it’s raining 😅
Well we are certainly doing our rain dance 💃🏻🕺🏼 on this fine because our team conducted its first nest excavation last night!!! Wooo!!! A nest excavation is where we take an inventory of the nest and it’s contents, which is then submitted to FWC per our Marine Turtle Permit guidelines (FWC MTP-120)

5 Unhatched Eggs
113 Total Eggs
96% SUCCESS!! 🤩

We are off to a great start!!! Now that we are smack dab in the middle of both nesting AND hatching season, the importance of is at an all time high!!! Please, please continue to do your part in helping our successfully nest and allowing their hatchlings a safe and successful journey to the Gulf!! 🙏❤️🐢

One of the BEST assets in his home is the coolio 2nd floor "lounge" and porch. Double the living space. You could have folks downstairs having a full living room and porch and then BAM you go upstairs and have all this! Love it.

Through Labor Day, you can get free day-use admission (generally 8 a.m. to sunset) to Grayton Beach State Park and Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, compliments of Visit South Walton. These beautiful treasures showcase why nearly 40% of South Walton’s land is preserved for nature.
