Precise billing and increased charge capture
3. Access to reliable, real-time data-based intelligence
4. Reliable and quick recall and expiration management
5. Prevention of waste of expensive, perishable products
6. Reduction in purchases due to smarter par levels
7. Inventory composition that is aligned with clinical needs
8. Results-oriented, strategic and analytic reports within seconds
9. Greater staff productivity and physician satisfaction
10. Affordable monthly subscription model

We realize that the various clinical documentation and inventory management systems out there may at first glance seem quite similar. The truth is that they are not created equal. The reality is that many companies on the market today make a lot of elaborate promises using a lot of fancy language, and then fall short when actually put to the test. We stand by our products because we know they work. Our solutions offer benefits and features that stand shoulders above the competition. Our priorities are simple - data integrity, robust methodologies, flawless processes, a superlative user experience, and the best customer support in the industry.

The capture of accurate UDI data is essential because it ensures the consistent identification and tracking of all devices and supplies throughout their life cycle, from point of manufacturing all the way to the point of care in a patient procedure. U
nfortunately, there are serious UDI compliance problems due to the mishandling of UDI, and these dramatically affect the integrity of the data. Read here to understand the main pitfalls and their consequences in the current implementation and use of UDI.

We're thrilled to announce that the VUEMED-LLUH (Loma Linda University Health) partnership has just been named Runner-Up for RFID Journal’s "Best Logistics/Supply Chain RFID Implementation," beating out over 30 nominees from around the globe in numerous industries.

We were recognized for using RAIN RFID technology to achieve full visibility and tracking of all medical products and devices at LLUH's International Heart Institute, which has resulted in improved patient safety and cost savings.

Recalled products are now traced to patients in seconds, expired devices are never placed in patients, required products for procedures are guaranteed to be available, and electronic medical records are always accurate and complete.

At the same time, LLUH gained full control over the spending and utilization of supplies, which has reduced unnecessary purchases and waste levels, optimized inventory size and composition, and ensured full charge capture. LLUH is now also able to support a significant increase in complexity and volume of cases without any significant increases in on-hand inventory.

Check out our newest blog about the importance of effective recall management of medical devices and supplies. Hospitals must have the capability to quickly flag recalled products, remove them from the shelves, and then track them to individual patients. Tracking recalls to patients is a particularly cumbersome and time-consuming process, and often not done comprehensively, but VUEMED's solutions ensure that hospitals have the means to act efficiently and swiftly.

AI has already shown value in clinical areas, such as helping to diagnose diseases from imaging and predict patient outcomes. But AI also has the potential to help us optimize and streamline the healthcare supply chain, thereby saving hospitals money and improving patient care.

There are legitimate concerns about the future of AI in our lives, and the debate rages on about how scared or excited we should be. But regardless of how we…

Hospitals have been quite good at adopting technologies that help them provide better patient care, such as telehealth systems, but when it comes to investing in technologies that support their supply chain operations, adoption has been significantly slower.

Check out our blog about common barriers to the implementation of supply chain-related technologies and the numerous reasons why it's absolutely essential in hospitals -- for their bottom line, for preventing provider burnout, and for protecting patients.

Interoperability – the ability of hospital systems to share information and work together – may sound simple, but the actual successful ex*****on of it is far from it. However, we all know that it’s absolutely essential for the smooth and efficient running of these complex organizations that patients rely on to provide quality care. Here are our insights into how to successfully overcome the challenges of interoperability.

According to HIMSS, interoperability “is the ability of different information systems, devices and applications (systems) to access, exchange, integrate and cooperatively use data in a coordinated manner, within and across…
