And the work begins- Bolivia school complete and first summit reached! Today the team moves up to camp on Huayna Potosi today. The almost 20,000-foot peak stands proud above La Paz and provides an airy ridge to the lofty summit. Wish them luck! Thanks for photos

You’ll find it all on Mount Shuksan’s Fischer Chimneys Route – snow, ice, and rock. With such memorable passages such as the “fat man’s misery,” Hell’s Highway, or Winnie’s ‘s Slide, things are always interesting on the route. And with a finish on the spectacular southeast ridge of the summit pyramid, you end up with one of the finest intermediate level alpine routes in the Cascades- a very cool route indeed😎 Thanks for photos

Last week our last Everest base camp trek team reached their goal with amazing weather. They dodged the monsoon when it mattered, but at the end the weather moved in and the team hiked below Lukla to a place the helicopter could reach them. They’re all now home. Congrats everybody! And that’s a wrap to the spring season.

Scott Fischer climbs with Dawa Geljin Sherpa back in the day. They climbed in Pakistan and Nepal numerous times and developed what surely would have been a long lasting friendship. Then, closing in on almost thirty years ago, scott would perish on Everest. Forever gone but always with us. Thanks for sharing Dawa.

All in the the family- dad and kids reach Everest Basecamp with Dawa Geljin Sherpa. They spent the night there and explored this temporary tent city before heading down; but it’s not over yet; four more days of walking left, a visit to Scott Fischer memorial, a few more monasteries to check out, and some good eats at Namche Bazaar left before flying back to Kathmandu

Plenty of hero shots on the summit of Ancient Art in Moab, but here’s the mandatory inglorious belly flop needed to get to the first bolt. With about 400 feet of exposure on either side, it’s both an exhilarating and awkward passage on the way to the tiny summit. Good for lots of laughs🤣
