Come and enjoy an expediton at the end of the world with us! Our adventures are located at the southern end of South America in a region called for centuries Patagonia. This region was discovered by Ferdinand Magellan in 1520, and ince then has been for centuries a wild, mysterious and unconquerable land. This region continues be a wild place where you can enjoy and learn about the endemic fauna a

nd avifauna, appreciate the diversity of flora and delight yourself exploring on foot this vast trails at the end of the world. Crux Expedition takes to on unique explorations in Patagonia. We explore around the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, an important protected, yet dwindling resource that provides life to the flora and fauna such as the Andean Condor, pumas and flamingos. Because we are locals, we explore places not visited by conventional trekking companies. Residing next to the third largest ice cap in the world, during our treks we encounter glaciers, alpine lakes, magnificent granite mountains, river and fjords. We received this review : Jhon R., U.K. — "I can't believe it is five years since I was in Patagonia on an expedition led by Evelyn, but it was such a super trip that it stays in my memory all the time. From the moment we were given a friendly welcome at Punta Arenas airport to the end of the trip everything was great.

The weather was mostly good (sometimes a bit mixed) but what a wonderful place Patagonia is to visit. It was a privilege to share Evelyn's local knowledge and love of the countryside and environment. Her walking leadership was extremely competent and she was so well organized throughout the trip (including some very tasty picnic lunches). The whole trip was spectacular from Punta Arenas and the Penguins, to Lago Grey (and Pisco Sour cooled with glacial ice!), Torres del Paine, Cuernos del Paine, Perito Moreno, Fitzroy, El Chalten — wow what a trip!"

What did you did in November ? We spend a month in Patagonia, enjoying the majestic of the land on all the dimensions; we hike to the top of the mountains to see the ancients tracks of Mesozoic and Paleozoic Era. Then we hike at the remote valleys at the W circuit in Torres Del Paine,and we finished visiting the remote Darwin Mountains at the UNESCO N.P. D' Agosstini. With out question a 5 start trip with excellent companions.

Chile has over 4,700 km of marine coast, for reference is almost the same size from PNW to the east side of USA. or almost the the size of all the coastline of India. The Paicif coast has been exploiting for decades and since 2000 Chile has been creating Marine Nationals Park for preserved the areas of human depredation. Chile declared a new Marine National Park today! this is great !

President Barack Obama declared new marine sanctuaries in Lake Michigan and the tidal waters of Maryland on Monday, while Chile blocked off more than 200,000 square miles of the Pacific Ocean near the world-famous Easter Island from commercial fishing and oil and gas exploration.

Hello, Hola, Salem, Jambo ! we back to the black hold yesterday. We was several weeks out on a new adventure at west Africa, where we exploring Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Ethiopia. We hiking at the Simien mountains and Uganda , where we saw wild Chimps at the forest; we scuba dive at the Indian Ocean, and we marvelous our self with the diversity of Masai Mara or Serengeti where we saw the last group of white rhinos and the beginning of the large immigration of mammals on earth.
During our time, also, we visiting a school in Ol Pejeta conservatory, we was part of the older and remote community of people in earth at Gondar - seems more older than Tibet, India or Nepal - and we left our imagination go with all the stories of Lalibela church,frankincense and old paintings at the dark rooms of 20 feed stones church. Was one of the deep and rich experience the we and I has been exposing recently, the makes Patagonia shine like a clean gem in our spirit and mind, and we can t wait for return in October having almost all the understanding the what is happen there, like a good explored we ready start thinking in Mongolia, 2016, why not? save your blin$ in experiences and toys for have fun in the nature. Here few photos the I take with my phone, soon will be more.
