We offer different types of balloons to provide you with the most comfortable flying experience.

Our smaller balloons can hold up to seven passengers, while our larger balloons can carry up to 14 passengers. The number of passengers for each flight is based on weight and the outside air temperature. We can’t guarantee which balloon you will be in, but we will do our best to accommodate your balloon preference if you have one. We also offer private balloon flights. 🌄

When is the take-off?

We fly once a day, early in the morning, all year round. Because of the unique requirements of hot air ballooning, our flights take off at sunrise to ensure the perfect conditions for a safe and breathtaking adventure.

Pick-up time is approximately 30 minutes before sunrise. Call our office between 9 am and 3 pm the day before your flight to confirm your exact time 🙌

After our journey, we celebrate with a champagne toast and a pastry.

Where will the hot air balloon take you 🌄?

We don’t know! Unlike airplanes, hot air balloons have no steering wheel, so there is no exact direction. Mother Nature is the pilot on this breathtaking ride!

But don’t worry - our experienced crew will await you at the landing site, wherever the wind takes us. Our favorite launch site is just off Red Rock Loop Road, close to Red Rock State Park.

When you join us for a hot air balloon ride, we want you to be comfortable and safe 🏜️.

To ensure this, we recommend wearing long pants and sturdy, fully protective shoes. It's best to dress in layers and don't forget to bring a hat to protect your head from the radiant heat during takeoff.

We advise as to seasonal dress when reservations are made, so we’ll be happy to help.

Also, bring water and make sure your phone and camera batteries are charged for some amazing pictures 📷 Can't wait to fly with you!

Hello! It’s time to get to know us better 🎈

We're Sedona's original hot air balloon company, established in 1974. With the longest flying record in Arizona with the same owners, we pride ourselves on safety. We're also one of only two balloon companies permitted by the Coconino National Forest to take off and land in the Sedona area.

We believe smaller balloons with fewer people provide the best experience, so we operate a fleet of 14 and 7-passenger balloons. Our aircraft meet and exceed industry standards, and our friendly, licensed pilots are experts at providing a safe and fun flight.

Also, we offer free local hotel pick-up and drop-off and don’t have any junk fees 👀
