Maui has been home for us for many years. We’re grateful to be safe and sound in Alaska, but our hearts are breaking for the devastation in Lahaina. We lost our beautiful sailboat that we’d lovingly rebuilt over the last ten years, but so many of our friends lost absolutely everything. 💔

Homes, businesses, pets, and loved ones are gone for so many people. The damage to the town and community is enormous. The stories we’ve heard and the footage we’ve seen is terrifying. There’s huge efforts underway to help displaced people and distribute necessities, but providing relief is going to be a long road. If you have it in your heart to give, we’ll be sharing some legitimate resources in our stories.

Our thoughts and our hearts are with our Lahaina ohana 🤍 Sending all our love & Aloha, and A Hui Hou to our beloved Calliope. We miss you all.

Take action to support the EPA's proposed determination that the incredible waters, fisheries, and land in Bristol Bay cannot be destroyed by extractive mining processes!
