Here are the top 3 things that have helped me over the years maintain great family & business relationships..
#1 ✅ didn’t have a plan B - I decided, corporate America didn’t pay me enough and didn’t appreciate what I brought to the table so I was never going back..
I got my real estate license in 2006 and my family quadrupled by 2009. I went from having 1 child in 2006 to 5 children in 2009..
Guess what?
I’ve never had a plan B, purposely! I made up my mind that this was my forever career and I figured out how to make it thrive..
#2 ✅ I work off a schedule however I’m not a robot and don’t live off a checklist. I live my life with purpose and know that what I need to get done has to be on my schedule..
It’s been a process, that process hasn’t been perfect..however it has worked for me, my family and my business.
#3 ✅ I have leverage. I understand I don’t have complete control over everything, even though I wish I did..
I have people in place that I trust in my business and family to step up for me in the event I can’t meet all of my obligations.
