We had a tough time configuring the living room layout at the Lily Rock Cottage. Balancing the flow from the front door, fireplace, and then the classic question; “now where do we put the TV?!”

The solution: add a projector!

We put in a 100inch projector screen that can roll up and down to make sure we don’t block any of the views / natural light during the day.

Guests are loving their cozy movie nights on the projector here in Idyllwild.

An added bonus; we were able to put the extra TV outside under the covered patio which makes for the perfect outdoor experience.

This Summit Blvd unit is now open for bookings! 🎇

This listing is unique in that you’re located right across the street from the Spokane River Centennial Trail AND a quick walk to Kendall Yards!! That means scenic hiking & biking trails + plenty of hip spots for brunch, pizza, cocktails, wine tasting, etc. All the while taking in panoramic views of the Spokane River!

The owners had this baby basically turn-key furnished with vintage furniture and local touches throughout. And, as always, captured the property in all it’s natural glory!

1 year ago today marks the first guest we ever hosted at RoavStays! Crazy to think we now have 25 units under management, with 2 more underway, and LOTS of crazy cool ideas for the future!

Starting this journey a year ago I didn’t really tell many people I was starting this business because I honestly didn’t know if it would be successful. I would spend all my time in class (which wasn’t a lot admittedly) researching different prices, products, styles, and stores to try and furnish 4 luxury apartments downtown, when all I have ever decorated was a dingy old dorm room lol.

We launched the Lilac City Lofts in April of 2020, exactly when COVID went down..me, , and my family spent the next 1 months paying ourselves about $4/hr for housekeeping to get people to book with us, get reviews, and generate revenue.

THEN something no one saw coming..short term rentals/Airbnb began to CRUSH IT in the next coming months. I finally got to see the potential of this business model, and decided to run with it..

Immensely grateful for all of the support and love on this journey.
